Bios of Facilitators
JoAnne Tybinka
President of Business Dialogue, Inc., JoAnne Tybinka founded the company in 1986 and led the teams that developed its flagship programs, People-to-People Skills, and The Art of Personality. She has been responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized professional development programs on such topics as communication skills, customer service, sales, quality enhancement, project management, and personality development. Her expertise also includes executive-level facilitation and the management of project teams comprising consultants, designers, writers, editors, artists, and audio/visual specialists.
In 1992, Ms. Tybinka began working with the Enneagram of Personality and was subsequently certified by Daniels/Palmer with the Association of Enneagram Teachers in the Narrative Tradition. She served on the Spirituality Track of that association for four years, two of them as Track Chair. Program Chairperson for the year 2000 Narrative Tradition Teachers Conference, she was also a presenter at the 2000 and 2003 International Enneagram Conferences.
Ms. Tybinka and her project teams have developed relevant and practical materials targeted at specific audiences in such companies as American President Companies, Cisco Systems, Farmers Insurance, Levi Strauss, Schlumberger Well Services, Volkswagen/Audi, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc. In addition, Ms. Tybinka has taught Business Dialogue's custom project management process to two of the largest training and development companies in the country.
Before forming Business Dialogue, Inc., Ms. Tybinka held management and sales positions with Herman Miller (office furniture) and Union Mutual Life Insurance Company, as well as consulting assignments with the custom group of Xerox Learning Systems (later known as Learning International and then Achieve Global) and Zenger-Miller (now also part of Achieve Global).
Ms. Tybinka received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. She continues her professional development through on-going coursework.
